Monday Media & PR Summit with Entrepreneur.com
On Monday, October 29th, we have the pleasure to interview Francine Kizner, senior projects editor at Entrepreneur.com, and editor of WomenEntrepreneur.com (since its launch in May 2007). Francine is also is a graduate of the University of Southern California and has been a copy editor, freelance writer and associate editor. Her responsibilities include:
• Host/produce a podcast for WomenEntrepreneur.com
• Managing all the columnists for the women’s site—I have done everything from recruiting them to setting up their contracts to coming up with topic lists with them to keeping them on schedule and editing their articles
• Managing all the bloggers on the Entrepreneur.com blog network (for ent and womenent)—this has included recruiting bloggers, negotiating contracts, keeping them on schedule, monitoring the blogs and comments, etc.
• Handling all the pitches, bylined articles and freelance articles for the women’s site
In addition to all this, Francine occasionally writes for the site—blogs, articles, slideshows, quizzes.
