What exactly is The Women’s Media Summit? It is a three-day Virtual Event; a series of webinars and teleconferences about getting the attention of the media, planning your public relations strategies and campaigns and meeting interesting women in the media today.Who should attend? If you are a new business owner or professional, or been in business for several years, the Women’s Media Summit is the perfect place to learn new strategies as well as give your current media plans a “shot in the arm.â€Â
What can one expect to gain from attending this summit? In other words, what’s in it for me? The primary focus of the Summit is to help you to learn innovative and cost-effective ways to be successful in your media marketing and public relations campaigns. This includes how to use the internet to promote your products, services and ideas, work effectively with the media, identify new opportunities to expand your media knowledge as well as expand your media contacts and relationships.
What should I bring to the Summit? Bring your questions, your ideas, and your enthusiasm, and your work-in-progress. Throughout the Summit there will be time to ask questions, and share some of your own experiences.
Are there opportunities to network with other women entrepreneurs and professionals? Yes, our sessions are one hour long and there are 30-minute breaks in between, giving our guests and experts the chance to network informally and ask questions. In addition, there is a VIRTUAL RECEPTION taking place online on Friday evening beginning at 5pm (Eastern Daylight time) for networking. At that time prizes will be given away and lots of great connections will be made. the last Virtual reception we hosted lasted 2 1/2 hours!
Is there a fee to attend? Yes, there is a nominal fee to addend The Women’s Media Summit, which includes the sessions, a workbook, a copy GET MEDIA SAVVY – ebook for women as well as hundreds of additional resources, throughout and beyond the event. In addition, everyone who registers will have access to the complete library of audio files once the summit is over. Oh, and for those interested, we will be forming a six week Media Mastermind (this is free) for those who wish to learn even more and stay connected with attendees.Â
How much does it cost to attend? The investiment for non-members & Basic Members is $57.00 (USD) which includes access to all thirteen + sessions, the materials as well as the audio programs after the summit is over. If you are a dues-paying member of The WECAI Network™ or NAFE, you pay only $27.00 (USD).
If you join The WECAI Networkâ„¢ between September 17th and October 17th, you will receive a *FREE Pass to the Summit and access to all the audio files from the Summit as part of your member benefits. No need to register!
*Free Pass and access to all audio files from the Summit when you join The WECAI Networkâ„¢ at the Charter Elite Membership level and pay yearly dues or when you join at the Global Lifetime Membership level and pay the one-time membership due.
What if I cannot attend all of the sessions? Not to worry, because each session is being recorded. Shortly after the Summit, the sessions will be posted online and as a registered guest, you will receive access to those recordings.
I prefer to listen to the information in my travels, will you be offering the sessions on CD or Tape? The Audio CD’s will be available for sale after the Summit. Registered guests will receive a discounted price of $57 for the entire 13 CD set.
Do I need to be a member of the WECAI Network™ or NAFE to Attend? No, you don’t need to be a member of either association to attend.

How do I register? You can register online via our online registration form, you can print out the form and fax it to 954-964-3135 or you can mail a check made out to WECAI – 7100 Pembroke Road, Miramar, FL 33023. If paying by check, check must be received by October 13th, to attend.
